LOG CABIN

LOG CABIN

Our log cabin is an original building, and dates from the last quarter of the 18th century. It was purchased by our founder, Roscoe Smith, in the 1940s, dismantled, and reassembled at its current location on the museum grounds. Visitors to our cabin will learn how a family lived in a small one-room building with no modern conveniences.
