The Magic Lantern Show!

July 12th, doors open at 7:30pm, Show at 8:30pm.

Step right up and step back in time—experience the wonder of the Magic Lantern!

Join us at the Museum Village this summer for the Magic Lantern Show, a spellbinding journey into the world’s first entertainment projector. From its 17th-century origins to the traveling shows of vaudeville, discover how this humble device ignited imaginations long before Hollywood was born.

Come experience the beginning of the American Revolution and how America remembered it in 1875.  This Living History event includes a Lexington green battle reenactment, military and civilian demonstrations, and more.
